The free online version of Microsoft OfficeOffice Online is an online version of Microsoft’s popular productivity suite, Office. Although not as complete as its counterpart, it is still a convenient document management tool in Office Online with three main applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. This allows you to work on text documents, spreadsheets and presentations just like in Office. Obviously you don’t have as many tools and options as in regular Office, but you can work with documents almost anywhere, over and over on the Internet (function (({)); The three applications in Office Online have a similar interface to desktops and are quite understandable. In addition to creating and editing documents online, you can also download files to your computer, share them via a link, and transfer files from your hard disk. For the latter, Office Online offers up to 25GB of free SkyDrive for download, although Office Online may have been a removed version of the original productivity package, but it works very well as a web-based tool for day-to-day document management and editing.
