The film, which will be released soon, follows Teresa (Brbara Kolen), who returns to Bakurau, a village in Serto, Brazil, to attend her grandmother’s funeral. Upon his arrival, Teresa immediately noticed signs that Bakurau was in a difficult situation. Basic amenities are missing, the cell phone cover is disappearing, clean water supply is stuck, and a truck with drinking water comes up with a bullet hole. It soon became clear that the corrupt government had actually left the town: Bakurau was not only removed from the map, but also that its citizens were attacked. As the person in the area, the villagers need to prepare organized resistance to prevent more damage.
